Itinerary

Day 1 - Arriving Rome

Rome is the capital and largest city of Italy, as well as the political, economic, cultural, and transportation center of the country. It has a history of over 2500 years and is a world-renowned historical and cultural city. It was the birthplace of the ancient Roman Empire and was nicknamed the “Eternal City” due to its long history of construction.

Visit the Spanish Square, Wishing Pool, Pantheon, Colosseum (exterior), and visit the ruins of ancient Rome.

Day 2 - Rome- Bailu Riccio 130km – Siena 130km

Go to Sky City – the authentic version of “Sky City” inspired by Hayao Miyazaki in Bailu Riccio, Italy. Built 2500 years ago and located on the mountaintop, it is connected to the outside world only by a narrow and long bridge. From a distance, it looks like a castle in the air, hence it is called the “City of the Sky”. This city was abandoned for hundreds of years and is also known as the Ghost City. The inspiration of the famous animated film “City of Sky” produced by Hayao Miyazaki, the master of Anime, comes from this castle.

Day 3 - Siena- San Gimignano 50km - Florence 60km

Visit Siena, which is the most perfect medieval town in Italy. The narrow streets and alleys arranged in a fan shape lead to Piazza del Campo. This square has been the center of Siena since the 14th century, and its unique scallop shape can be considered a masterpiece in architectural history. From a high altitude, the square appears in a huge fan-shaped shape, consisting of nine parts, representing the nine members of the Siena government. The most impressive building on the square is the Palazzo Pubblico, which houses exquisite murals.

Go to San Gimiano, known as the “City of Metta”, where 14 sturdy clan towers with simple and Romanesque designs have been preserved to this day. These clan towers were first built around 1150 AD and were symbols of aristocratic status at that time. It is said that during the heyday of this small city, there were once 70 towers. They are staggered in height, forming a beautiful skyline, to the point where this small town is often referred to as “medieval Manhattan”.

Day 4 - Florence

Visit the Monarch Square, which is one of the most beautiful squares in Italy. Once the political center of Florence, it is now an authentic open-air art museum;

Visit the Statue of David and the Florence Cathedral. If Florence is a shining pearl in Tuscany, then the Florence Cathedral is the symbol of this brilliant city. Florence Cathedral is the fourth largest church in Europe. Its dome is the largest dome since ancient times. The exquisite appearance of the Cathedral is in the style of imitation Gothic architecture, which forms a sharp contrast with its plain interior.

Day 5 - Florence- Venice260km

Visit Piazza San Marco, where the Venetian patron saint, the winged lion, stands; Saint Mark’s Cathedral, known as the Golden Church in appearance; Looking at the Bridge of Sighs from a distance, it is named after the end of life. It is one of the most famous bridges in Venice.
